A little species of fancy goldfish known as the Bubble Eye has two large fluid-filled sacs along with upward-facing eyes. It is a fish without a dorsal fin; excellent examples will have a clean back and eye bubbles that are the same size and color. Because of their delicate bubbles, the fish should be kept apart from rowdy species and ornamental fish in the tank. Although the bubbles will regenerate if they are broken, a wound may make the fish more susceptible to diseases.
